A river runs hard down the whole left side, a belt of sand and scrub hugs the right, and the fairway threaded between them is a ribbon you can barely stand on. Take on the green off the tee and flirt with the water, or lay back with an iron and pick your way down. There is no comfortable way to play it, only brave or sensible, and both can still make a mess of it.
