The only way out to it is the old keepers road, a strip of tarmac with a low sea wall, and there is no bail out at the end of it, just rock and kelp and then the sea. The wind here is the hole. It is always stronger at the green than it feels on the tee, because there is nothing in between to slow it down, and the flag will always be tucked somewhere that flirts with the water. Take the extra club, aim at the middle, and be delighted with a three.
