Auchmill Golf Course is situated in the Northfield / Bucksburn area of Aberdeen and was set out originally as a 9-hole golf course run by Aberdeen City Council It was officially opened for play in 1975, having been designed by a qualified team including: Brian Hugget, Ryder Cup player Neil Coles and Golf architect Roger Dyer. The Club was originally and foremost an amenity used by both locals and local clubs The course was extended to an 18-hole course in 1989 and due to its growing popularity and Auchmill Golf Club came into existence in its own right The Club is run by it’s Members and to date, the membership has risen to around 400
