Blackwell Grange Golf Club

The golf course and its facilities are well established in the golfing world, a view that is firmly endorsed by the PGA, who regularly use the facilities for competitions. The superb 18 hole parkland golf course extends over 145 acres and offers one of the best 15 bay floodlit driving ranges, offering distance markers, raised target greens and chipping nets. Blackwell Grange Golf Club also boasts a superb practice green, a professional shop and excellent catering facilities in the clubhouse. The course offers a challenging and varied landscape with the river Skerne looping through the course and encouraging extra skill at the second, third and fourth hole. The second is a difficult 449 yard, par 4 downhill, with a green just nestling in the rivers loop. The third is a short uphill dog leg, par 4, with the river running all the way along its length. At the fourth, a short, but tricky 130 yard hole, tests the nerves, as the tee shot must carry the bend of the river. The twelfth hole requires a good drive through a narrow and well bunkered part of the course, combines the well matured landscape with some tricky bunkers, whilst the finish is then quite daunting with four of the final five holes over 400 yards, including the par 5 16th hole.
