Durham City Golf Club is one of England's oldest inland clubs having been inaugurated in the historic cathedral city in 1887. We are a traditional golf club with modern standards, taking a relaxed and welcoming stance to all members and visitors. The course offers a challenge for golfers of all abilities; the subtly sloped greens and gentle terrain make it a testing but always enjoyable challenge. The Club is located in the village of Langley Moor just off the A690, 2 miles south west of the ancient city centre of Durham, easily accessible from the A1(M). The history of the city with its castle and cathedral World Heritage site makes it a must see place for all visitors to the north east. For golfers, Durham City Golf Club should be added to their list of must play courses when visiting the region or organising a society day.
