While not physically demanding, the Par 70, 6201 yard course (5682 yard, Par 74 for Ladies) presents a true test of golf for players of all levels – featuring narrow tree-lined fairways, fast well-bunkered greens, with 3 of the 5 Par 3’s over 200 yards, and the river in play on several holes. It benefits from fairway irrigation and a new drainage system for a great playing experience the whole year around. It’s a course that rewards good course management and accuracy, as well as a light touch and steady nerve on the greens. It has helped breed players of the highest standard in English amateur golf – as well as individual success, over the years Ealing has been English Champion Club four times and European Champions twice. Members find that their handicap travels well, while visitors need to bring their ‘A’ game.
