Gerrards Cross Golf Club

Gerrards Cross golf course is set in parkland with extensive woodland areas. Beech and oak trees, characteristic in this area of Buckinghamshire, feature on many holes and as you can imagine the course is particularly attractive in Spring and Autumn. The Course measures 6,243 yards from the white tees with one par 5 and four par 3s. With a par of 69 the course provides a good test of golf, confirmed by a SSS of 71 (after a re-assessment early in 2012). Accuracy is the key! The views across the Misbourne valley from the elevated tees at the 2nd and 18th tees are a delight. The final three holes are particularly picturesque and a delight to play, the 18th a memorable and testing dog leg hole. A well-placed drive is required to set up a long downhill second shot over the River Misbourne which runs across the course a few yards from the green. Reaching the last green safely in two shots would be the highlight of any visit.
