Established in 1894, Meyrick Park's Championship 18 Hole Golf Course draws golfers from all over Europe due to its rich heritage and demanding test of golf. Meyrick Park is Bournemouth's best-kept secret, and set within 120 acres of undulating scenic parkland with verdant tree-lined fairways, provides a country setting in the heart of the town. The 18 Hole Championship Golf Course confronts golfers with a number of memorable challenges, most notably the opening 244-yard Par 3, where the driver is over a valley to a small green cut in a hill. Also, the highly acclaimed 14th hole, immortalized by the word of Henry Cotton– "There is no finer hole than that of the 14th at Meyrick Park"
