Willingdon Golf Club

Measuring 6,158 yards from the competition tees, golfers of all abilities face a stiff but fair challenge at Willingdon. At all times of the year, players will find a perfectly manicured course with slick greens that are the envy of many other clubs. The unique layout of the course enables play to commence at the 1st, 9th or 15th holes, all of which are conveniently located near to the clubhouse. Each hole on the course has its own memorable features, none more so than the course's signature hole, the short par 3 5th, which has a row of railway sleepers encircling the green. Every one of the holes presents a challenge and the experienced golfer at Willingon knows that it is brains, not brawn, that will be needed to unlock the secret of a low score. At par 69, the course appears relatively easy, but many a good card has been ruined by underestimating the difficulty of the challenge, particularly on the par 3 holes.
